Lyssie writes - " There I was with my camera, clicking away on my favourite beach when the storm hit. Breathlessly fighting my horizontal way to shelter, clutching my camera under my coat – far more important than rescuing my hood - I wondered who would save me if the wind won and swept me out to sea. I had to paint it. I love texture and introduced gravel to the bottom sandy / pebbly area to add perspective and suggest distance between the viewer and the storm – closing rapidly!"
