Lindsay writes - ' Completing an honours degree in Fine Art in the late 80's with an exhibition of black and white hand printed portraits and social landscape photographs from film, I've been taking photographs ever since.

Working as a freelance photographer mainly for the local press in and around Clydesdale and South Lanarkshire, I have had experience in many areas, and continue to take on more challenges. The greatest one in the last few years was moving into the revolutionary and exciting world of digital electronic imagery. Apart from no longer having clothes ruined from development chemicals and the vinegary smell on my hands, there isn't much I miss from the years of standing around in a darkened room waiting for pictures to dry. Digitisation has been a wonderful addition to the development of photography, in providing the human race with a medium able to be send images round the world in an instant.

Whether for the press, publicity, portraits, weddings, family occasions or commercial, I am happy to provide my services at a realistic and competitive rate with the emphasis being on y our requirements. Ever thought of turning your old prints or negatives into digital versions of themselves, contact me and we can see what's possible.

Over recent years I have tried to find the time to be little more artistically creative with my camera. As one of the sponsors for the Biggar Little Festival , I greatly enjoy covering arts events, particularly live music and stage performances, and this has provided many opportunities to test those abilities and skills with my digital camera.
