© Ronnie Brown Ronnie Brown is a painter and illustrator who works with various media and subjects. For twenty years he was employed in the Clyde Alloy Foundry in Motherwell. He writes - ' It is a full size (18" x 14") metal etching done at the Glasgow Print Studio. I tried to imagine if Jesus had been a tradesperson in a local steelworks how he would have got his message across. Using my knowledge of union meetings and my own religious beliefs, I tried to create my modern day version of the Last Supper. Of course, in this part of the world, it would need to be a Fish Supper!' |
