The Upperward Basketmakers are a group of enthusiasts who meet to practise this traditional craft on the first Saturday of each month at Abington Village Hall. Members of the group, although not fully fledged basketmakers, are sufficiently accomplished to be able to work independently of a tutor.
The group is a member of the Scottish Basketmakers Circle.
