Derek writes 'In this piece I took inspiration from all the colour variations throughout the seasons. Having always lived in the Clyde Valley I’ve grown with love of nature, detail and this beautiful part of Scotland. Having studied Interior Design and Design & Illustration as well as a long trip round the world I feel lucky with my inspirational thoughts, attention to detail and colour awareness.

I design in the styles of Celtic, Mackintosh, Floral and Abstract creating Mirrors, Mirror Clocks, Vases and Sun Catchers. I work using a Lead Overlay system with a preferred German style of Soldering. I mostly sell my work to Gift shops & Galleries, however I also do varying commission work of whatever people wish including their own designs.'
