Hi there from Don and me. We feature another bumper bundle this month: a landscape painted on wood by multimedia artist Corinna Lassen; a matching pair of boxes hand-made by Ian Stark; a poem by Anne Armstrong of Clyde Valley Writers; a photograph of the Firth of Clyde taken by Billy Quigley of Lanark Camera Club; a short story by Heather Reid of Clyde Valley Writers; a song by folk group Quaich. They are all there for you to enjoy. Thanks to those contributors this month and to all of those who have already sent in works for future showcases. Keep them coming! To make our 'Noticeboard' more obvious, we have moved it from the top of our pages to the side panel. Please use this facility to spread the word of things that don't quite fit into our other events listings. For example, you might have a 2nd-hand bouzouki for sale. The noticeboard could bring that to the attention of a lot of interested people. And, don't forget, it is free of charge. Our website statistics tell us that the number of hits per month has increased every month since August 2004 and is now more than double what it was then. So it is more than twice as worthwhile for groups and individuals to keep their information as up-to-date as possible. Our events pages are accurate, as far as we know, to the end of the month, and we will extend them beyond April during the next few days. If the pattern of your group meetings changes as the Springtime advances, please don't forget to let us know so that we can keep up-to-date. Also this it the time for end-of-season exhibitions, shows or concerts, so do please let us pass on your information to others. Remember too to let us know if your group contact information might change if you have an AGM. Good wishes from us both. Joanne and Don
