And a Happy New Year!

If you’re a regular visitor, you’ll know that January is the one month of the year when our Showcase is empty and we take a little break. But we hope you’ve been enjoying the new Festive Verse instead.

Also you’ll maybe notice that ‘Events in January’ now lists only events which are open to the general public. This change makes it easier to find concerts, exhibitions, etc. when you are looking for such information. Previously we listed each club or class meeting as well. However information about dates, times and venues of club or class meetings only open to members, is already available in the Listings - for those who are interested. In March we’ll change all our events listings in each category in the same way. We’ll run with this changed layout for a few months and see how it goes. Please let us know what you think , though. We’d be glad to hear your response.

We’ll still need to keep all our information up to date, so please could you check your Listing or Event and make sure we’ve got it right? And please keep us in mind whenever one of your own Event dates is decided? It’s never too early to let us know and to take advantage of this free publicity! This website is as good, informative and up to date as you make it!

We only have two Showcase items for 2007. Please don’t wait to be asked. Send us your music, photograph, poem, short story, painting or piece of craft work if you would like to support us and to share your creative work.
