Hi there from Don and me,

We enjoy moving in to March, feeling that Spring is once more around the corner with its freshness, warmth and colour. But you don’t need to wait for Spring to deliver these. Showcase, here on www.clydevalley.net brings them all today!

However, you may notice that we’ve only featured one piece of writing. Since we began Showcase, we’ve been asking the writers to contribute two pieces of work each month. Twice what we ask of others. We thought we would only seek one this year, but if writers send in more, we will be delighted to feature it in Showcase. We have Chris Rogers' song 'Glasgow Tattoo', Muriel Andrew's watercolour 'The White House', Isobel MacDonald's short story 'A Hellish Day' and, although there isn’t a craft featured, we do have a double contribution, 'Birds in Habitat', from Jimmy Maxwell. He thought his two offerings complemented each other and we totally agree.

As ever, please would you check that we have correct dates listed and remember, if you want to update or freshen up your listing at any time, just let us know. Thumbnails can be changed, for example. Perhaps you now have a website we can publicise? Are you about to release a CD or have work published? Just let us know.

Enjoy the daffodils!

Thanks to all those who have checked events and informed us of changes.

If you have any thoughts about the newsletter or any aspect of clydevalley.net in general, why not send us an email and let us know?
