Hi there from Don and me.

Mr. J. from Elsrickle writes - 'Since I have started logging on to www.clydevalley.net I have won the lottery 3 times and the bald patch on my head has begun to re-grow.'

OK, a distant dream, but we have had some good feedback from others this month. For example:-

'Many thanks for the listing, it looks good and I have  already had some feed back from it!!'

'Thank you for your interest and for putting our group and exhibition on the Clyde Valley web site. I do know that several people have read about us through that.'

'[Our] group had our first post-summer meeting last night with two new members, who found us through your site. So thanks for that.'

Many thanks to those contributors for letting us know.

This month's Showcase features a painting ' The River Clyde from Covington' by Sharon Catto, a member of Biggar Art Group, a short story 'No Way Back' by Ethyl Smith, a member of the newly-formed Kirkmuirhill Writers, a song, 'The Rose', performed by Stonehouse Male Voice Choir', a poem 'Eilean Cholla cycle' by Chris Ross, a member of Strathaven Writers, a wallhanging in felt 'Sunset Over Tinto Hill' by feltmaker Pat MacKenzie and a photograph 'Landscape Roberton' by Bob Arnott, the president of Lanark Camera Club . We hope that you will enjoy them as much as we do. Congratulations and thanks to each contributor. Thanks too to all those who have been sending us work for inclusion in future Showcases.

Keep an eye on our Noticeboard where you will find other interesting news as it happens in the Clyde Valley. There is a lot going on.
