Lindsay Addison

Freelance photographer, mainly for the local press in and around Clydesdale and South Lanarkshire. He has been taking photographs ever since completing an honours degree in Fine Art in the late 80's with an exhibition of black and white hand printed portraits and social landscape photographs. Over recent years he has tried to find the time to be little more artistically creative with his camera. As one of the sponsors for the Biggar Little Festival , he greatly enjoys covering arts events, particularly live music and stage performances, and this has provided many opportunities to test his abilities and skills with his digital camera.

Anthony Newlands

Anthony is 66 years old and has been an amateur photographer for over 50 years. He has always bought the most expensive camera he could afford and has worked for years with 35mm cameras before arriving in the digital age. His present camera is a Konika Minolta Z10 and he’s very happy with it. Among its many good points, it is a lot cheaper to use. Toni says, ‘ In the days of 35mm it cost me a fortune since I would snap a lot of the same subject hoping to get a good one’.

William Wilson

William started serious photography by joining Larkhall Camera Club, taking mainly nature photographs, although he also enjoyed studio work. Although no longer involved with any camera clubs, he is a keen member of a number of online photography forums. Most of his work is fine art monochrome or colour and is produced as Giclée prints using paper and inks of archival quality. Much of his present style has evolved from the area he now lives in. He looks for different perspectives, pushing towards strong compositions and contrast, often breaking the rules. This drives his passion for expression.
